Riley Leads Quebec City to 3-0 Win
|
The Quebec City Baby Blues got a magnificent performance from pitcher Desi Riley, who muffled the Tulsa offense en route to a tight 3-0 Baby Blues win at Ballpark of Hughesville. Quebec City now has a record of 1-2.
Riley dominated for Quebec City, raising his record to 1-0. Tulsa hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 3 hits over 8 innings while striking out 4.
"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Riley told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
