Crush Rally For 3-1 Win

The Shady Side Zoomies got a superb performance from pitcher Cisco Rodríguez. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Flint. The Crush won the game, 3-1. Rodríguez threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball. Roberto Días came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. Steve Stewart finished to wrap up his 8th save.
Runs were scarce in this one. So, Logan Burdett's at-bat in the top of the ninth was vitally important. With two out, the Flint designated hitter reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 2 run3, to give his team a 3-1 lead.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Shady Side manager John Aston.
Flint has won 4 straight games.
