Brenchley Leads Flint Past Shady Side

The Flint Crush beat the Shady Side Zoomies, 2-0. Flint pitcher and Stockton-on-Tees, England, native Peter Brenchley led the way. Steve Stewart finished the game for Flint and earned his 6th save. The Crush raised their record to 8-7.
Shady Side could barely put a dent in Brenchley. The right-hander tossed 101 pitches over 8 innings for the Crush, allowing only 1 hit.
"Runs were at a premium," said Flint manager Tim Nelson.
