Rhinos Deal Zoomies 6-4 Loss
The Redwood Rhinos dealt the Shady Side Zoomies a 6-4 loss at Terriers Ballpark. Kent Richardson was the star on offense. He went 2 for 6 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Redwood reliever Dustin Burgess got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Frank Gagnon was tagged with the loss. Chun-hua Zhào got the save, the 1st for him this season.

Richardson had a game-changing home run in the top of the 13th. On a full count fastball from Frank Gagnon, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Rhinos a 6-4 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Richardson.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Shady Side manager John Aston.

Redwood is now 7-4.
