Fort Knox starter Elmer Cullum had a strong outing against the Hicksville Hounds at Ballpark of Baxter. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-2 win. Fort Knox is now 65-28, Hicksville 47-46.

Steve Sheehan tagged a home run off Kien Ou-yang in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run blast put the Centennial on top, 2-1. In all, Sheehan had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"I still think this team can play even better," Cullum told the Fort Knox News.
