Carr Silences Hudsonville Bats

In a tight affair between the Ballard Beavers and the Hudsonville Flanderses, pitcher Donald Carr was in the zone. The Ballard right-hander helped his team win the game, 3-0. Ricardo Guerra was credited with the save for Ballard, his 1st of the season. The win leaves Ballard with a record of 1-4.
Carr, who leaned on his slider, allowed no runs on just 1 hit over 7.2 innings for the Beavers. For the most part, Hudsonville hitters were simply overmatched.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Carr.
