Big Day by Hori Sparks 8-4 Ladue Win
|
The Ladue Rams topped the Ogallala Octopi by the score of 8-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Yuichi Hori. Hori was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Rams on the day. At 45-43, the Rams are currently 5th in the Premier Low A.
The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth when Hori hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Rams into the lead, 5-2.
"They played a better game than we did," said Ogallala skipper Félix Cruz.
