The Redwood Rhinos and Beaumont Crossbeaus played an exciting game.

Beaumont got a valiant performance from pitcher Carlos Huertas, but it wasn't enough to beat the Redwood Rhinos. Redwood won the game, 3-2. Huertas threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. The win gives Redwood a record of 4-0.

Redwood used the timely hitting of Kent Richardson to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 15th inning to put the Rhinos on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 7 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Richardson.
