The Fort Knox Centennial used an offensive barrage to beat the Ogallala Octopi, 11-1, at Nebraska Aquarium. Steve Sheehan led the way, going 3-for-5 for Fort Knox. Mark Moss, the winner, improved to 5-2. He held Ogallala to 1 run on 3 hits over 5.1 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. Li-ping Cheng got credit for the save for Fort Knox. It was his 4th of the year.

Fort Knox relied on the hitting of Ahn Jin-ah to pick up the win. The shortstop ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Centennial on top, 5-1. For the game, Jin-ah had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Ogallala manager Félix Cruz called the blowout loss "just something that happens."
