Gilberto Cruz was superb against Ogallala. The right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the PA- in innings pitched with 80.2, had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Hounds victory. The score was 6-3. The Hounds, at 35-30, sit in 4th place in the Premier Low A.

Hicksville took a 4-3 lead on Jeffery Foster's 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Foster hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Ogallala pitcher Martín Clemente shaking his head.

Foster called the win "a collective effort."
