Sheehan Rips 2 Home Runs in 7-4 Centennial Triumph
Getting offensive support from Steve Sheehan, the Fort Knox Centennial topped the Hicksville Hounds, 7-4. Sheehan hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Centennial. Alejandro Morales earned the win for Fort Knox. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 2-2. The Centennial saw their win-loss record go to 29-15. At the same time, the Hounds fell to 23-21.

Fort Knox used a well-timed hit by Bryant May to capture the win. The center fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Centennial ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Winning is contagious," said Sheehan. "We're looking forward to the next game."
