Hounds Suffer 6-4 Setback
Hicksville got a big-time effort from pitcher Yuk Yan, but it wasn't enough to keep the Maine Sea Dogs from winning the game, 6-4. Yan threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Reliever Luis Herrera picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Troy Hamilton took the loss. With the win, Maine boosts its record to 7-10.

Claude Prigent provided a timely hit. The Maine pinch hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sea Dogs on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Prigent told the Maine Bulletin.
