The Columbia River Rats picked up a win at Columbia Stadium, knocking off the Lake Erie Arryns, 6-3. Starting pitcher Edward Lamb played a key role in the triumph. Picking up the save was Mike Nichols, his 24th. Columbia, at 48-31, is 3 games up in the Premier A.
The Arryns had trouble solving Lamb, who surrendered no runs on 1 hit over 7 innings.
