Blue Dragons Roll to 8-1 Win Over Chiefs
The Levittown Blue Dragons trumped the Caldwell Chiefs, 8-1, at The Cave at Levittown. Levittown center fielder Rodel Paulino was terrific. He went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Luka Bachev picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 7. On the season, he is now 9-5. The Blue Dragons saw their win-loss record go to 37-42. At the same time, the Chiefs fell to 33-46.

The Blue Dragons got an important contribution from designated hitter Alastair Warnes, who in the bottom of the third knocked a 2-2 fastball into right-center for a run-scoring triple. It was his 8th triple of the season and put the Blue Dragons ahead, 2-0.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Warnes told the Levittown Citizen.
