The Caldwell Chiefs trumped the Washington Generals, 7-4, at Pipers Ballpark. Caldwell first baseman Manuel Sabala was terrific. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. The winning pitcher was Travis Crockett. He tossed 113 pitches over 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Josh Durnford.
