Interns Get 5-1 Win Versus Ogallala
|
Capital Hill Interns starter Naofumi Nishida pitched a strong game against the Ogallala Octopi at Alouettes Ballpark, leading the Interns to victory, 5-1. The winning pitcher was Nishida, now 1-0. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 6. José Pérez, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.
Joaquín Rodríguez had a critical at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for Capital Hill. He came through with a 2-run double to put Capital Hill in front, 4-1.
