Levittown Beats Athletic Club KC, 4-3

The Blue Dragons grabbed a win, 4-3, at ACKC Youth Field, overcoming a fine effort from Athletic Club KC pitcher Cisco Cervantes. Cervantes went 6 innings and allowed 4 runs. Luka Bachev picked up the win, improving his season record to 8-4. He struck out 11 in 7 innings. Jamie Gauthier earned the save for Levittown, his 22nd.
Levittown used the timely hitting of Nick Childress to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Blue Dragons ahead, 4-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"It was a good effort all around," said Childress.
At 33-37, the Blue Dragons are currently 8th in the Premier A.
