Losing Streak Continues for Hobeaus with 9-2 Loss to Gallos
The Delmarva Gallos beat the Smoky Mountain Hobeaus, 9-2, at The Cage. Gilbert Guy, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Delmarva reliever Álex Encarnación was the winner. His record is now 3-0. Nam-shik Yi took the loss. The losing skid has reached 10 games for Smoky Mountain.

In the first inning, Guy had a 2-run home run for Delmarva. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Gallos on top, 2-0.

"This losing is getting old," said Smoky Mountain manager Hong Wei Cao.
