Yinzers Snag 4-2 Win

The Monroeville Yinzers took Delmarva pitcher William Collins's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. The final score had Monroeville getting past the Gallos, 4-2. Collins went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 4. Monroeville reliever Ray Mitrou picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Charles Fields shouldered the loss. Today's win puts Monroeville at 32-30, while Delmarva falls to 32-30.
Ricardo Aquino drew 1 walk in 2 trips to the plate for Monroeville. The 21-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Charles Fields. It was his 8th walk of the season.
