Alameda Makes It 6 Straight with 3-0 Win
Alameda picked up a win at Alameda Field, toppling the Pontiac Godfathers, 3-0. Pitcher Larry Oliver was one of the reasons the Airmen triumphed. Dae-ki Kim earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. With the victory, the Airmen record now stands at 33-26.

Alameda won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and Doug Edwards on the mound for Pontiac, third baseman Matt Monahan hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Airmen fans to their feet.

"This place was jumping at the end," Monahan said.
