Yinzers Snatch Late Win
The Monroeville Yinzers knocked off the Pontiac Godfathers, 8-7, at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. Chris McNally hit 4 singles and 1 double, while driving in 6 runs. The winner was Monroeville reliever Ray Mitrou, now 1-2. The loser was Júlio Medina. The triumph puts Monroeville at 30-27 for the season.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, McNally hit a fastball from Júlio Medina for a run-scoring single. The Yinzers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Luis Arreola, the Monroeville skipper.
