Seahawks Drop Yinzers, 4-3, with Late Score

Rafael Videla was superb against Monroeville. The right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the SA in strikeouts with 93, had a sinker that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Seahawks victory. The score was 4-3. Ray Stevenson earned the save, his 15th, for the Seahawks. Myrtle Beach is now 29-24. Monroeville is 28-25.
Myrtle Beach took a 4-3 lead on Lloyd Rook's 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Rook hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Monroeville pitcher Ken Lewis visibly frustrated.
"Rafael was able to execute his pitches," said Myrtle Beach manager Tom Oglander. "Simple as that."
