In a tight game between the Huntington Hermit Crabs and the Laredo Hawks, pitcher Ronald Hensball was terrific on the mound. The Huntington left-hander helped his team to the 2-0 win. In 7 innings, Hensball surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. The Hermit Crabs move to 37-28 with the win, while the Hawks drop to 36-29.
Clark Martin, the 25-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Martin contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Huntington up, 1-0.
