Niagara Falls Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
Yucca Valley got a decent performance from pitcher Alejandro Paboal, but it wasn't enough to beat the Niagara Falls Expos. Niagara Falls won the Waterfall Park contest, 4-3. Paboal threw 8.1 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Niagara Falls reliever Albert Hernández picked up the win to move to 5-5. Dan Harris suffered the loss. With the win over Yucca Valley, the Expos improved to 29-24.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Niagara Falls first baseman Dave Hudson, facing Dan Harris, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Expos the 4-3 win.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Hudson.
