Yellows Deal Expos 3-1 Defeat
|
In a tight game between the Yucca Valley Yellows and the Niagara Falls Expos, pitcher Eric Hyde was terrific on the mound. The Yucca Valley right-hander helped his team to the 3-1 win. The Yellows go to 21-31 with the win.
Yucca Valley used the timely hitting of Ralph Garrison to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Yellows ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Hyde said.
