Niagara Falls starter Benny Carr put a stranglehold on the Idaho Falls offense. The left-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Expos to a 2-0 win. The Expos sit in third place in the Menard's A with a record of 27-21.
Niagara Falls relied on the hitting of Guillermo Rivera to pick up the win. The left fielder ripped a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Expos on top, 2-0. For the game, Rivera had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Rivera.
