Huntington and Laredo got after it at The Shell.
The Huntington Hermit Crabs picked up a win at The Shell, knocking off the Laredo Hawks, 7-1. On the mound for Huntington was left-hander Logan Wrighton, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Hermit Crabs, at 26-22, sit in 4th place in the Menard's A.
Wrighton, the winner, is now 3-2. In 7 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 4 hits, while collecting 8 Ks. He essentially shut down the Laredo offense.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Laredo manager Troy Grant.
