Niagara Falls rode a fine outing from starter Brian Ingram to victory over the Laredo Hawks at Waterfall Park. The final score was 4-2. Ingram went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 3-2. The save went to Albert Hernández, number 11 for him.

Rafael Vázquez had a big bases-clearing double for the Expos in the bottom of the third inning. With Niagara Falls leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Chip Beatty and swatted a double to left. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Expos ahead, 4-0.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Ingram. "Successful pitchers do it."

The Expos' win now puts them at 21-20.
