Ithaca Fighting Imps starter Frederick Jennings pitched a strong game against the Tacoma Fur Traders at Imps Park, leading the Fighting Imps to victory, 5-4. The Fighting Imps now have a mark of 48-53.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Ithaca trailing 4-3, Marc Porter hit a fastball from Jonathan Alexander for a 2-run home run, giving the Fighting Imps the walk-off win.

Porter told the Ithaca Observer: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
