Loss to Screaming Eagles Extends Crescent City Losing Streak
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles picked up a win at Mercer Island Grounds, taking down the Crescent City Krewe, 3-2. Starting pitcher Francisco Encarnación was a big reason why. Encarnación got the win, improving to 11-7. He allowed 3 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Encarnación allowed 1 run. The losses continue to mount for Crescent City, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

The Screaming Eagles got a big hit from right fielder Celestino Pvoas. In the bottom of the fifth, Pvoas pounded a run-scoring double to left-center. His 2nd double of the season put the Screaming Eagles ahead, 3-0.

Encarnación said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
