Bush Pilots Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Matlacha Manatees and Alaskan Bush Pilots.

Dan Stoffel left his imprint on the 3-2 Matlacha win against the Alaskan Bush Pilots. Stoffel, who leads the 3A in doubles with 7, went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Alonso González finished to wrap up his 1st save.

Stoffel contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Matlacha in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-0, Stoffel took a fastball from Robert Anderson and stroked the home run to right. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Manatees to leap in front, 3-2.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Stoffel told a Matlacha Bulletin reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."

Matlacha, with the win, climbs to 8-15.
