Joe Thomas was superb against Northville. The right-hander, who is tied for 3rd in the PAA in wins with 8, had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Loons victory. The score was 3-1. Vojislav Gracanin, credited with the save, is now 3 for 3 in save opportunities. With the win, Minnesota raised its record to 43-24.
Thomas made it look easy. He scattered 3 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 8-2.
