The Minnesota Loons went down to defeat to Lou Thompson and his Tacoma teammates. The final score was 2-1 in favor of the Fur Traders. The victory makes Tacoma 22-42.
In the bottom of the tenth, Kelvin Holt had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring single to center off Minnesota pitcher Matt Dougherty.
"Exciting game to play in," said Holt. "Getting the win makes it even better."
