Krewe Deal Eclipse 6-2 Setback
|
Crescent City pitcher Jessie Wolfe did his part in helping his team beat the Northville Eclipse, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Vincent Sturm finished to wrap up his 7th save. With the win, the Krewe have a record of 27-30.
Crescent City used a well-timed hit by Martino López to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Krewe ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," López told the Crescent City Gazette.
