Minnesota center fielder Lac Leman had a good game, even if his team did not. The Loons dropped a 7-6 decision to Ithaca at Loony Bin. Leman went 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Wan-hua Yi, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 15th save. The 5th-place Fighting Imps are 27-28.

Ithaca used the clutch hitting of Mark Doss to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Fighting Imps the lead, 7-3. For the game, Doss had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Ithaca manager Albert Pérez.
