The Ithaca Fighting Imps got a magnificent performance from pitcher Adam Walker, who stifled the Bethesda offense en route to a 3-1 Fighting Imps win at Imps Park. Wan-hua Yi was credited with the save for Ithaca, his 13th of the season. The Fighting Imps now own a record of 24-24.
Walker, who dominated for Ithaca, earned the victory to move to 4-3. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 5. Bethesda batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Walker.
