The Crescent City Krewe and Minnesota Loons were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Minnesota Loons topped the Crescent City Krewe, 4-1, in USPL Double A action at Field of the Krewe. The standout performance belonged to Minnesota pitcher and Laurel, Delaware, native Steve Stevens. Stevens, the winner, moves to 2-2. He threw 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 1 walk.

The Loons got an important contribution from left fielder Lac Leman, who in the top of the fourth knocked a 1-0 fastball into left-center for a solo home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Loons ahead, 2-0.

Leman called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

With the win over Crescent City, the Loons improved to 26-13.
