Brieuc Robert never let the Eclipse get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Screaming Eagles to a win, 6-1. Mercer Island has a record of 15-15, placing them 5th in the Premier AA.

The game could have flipped with one out in the top of the sixth. But Brieuc Robert made what his manager later called "an A-plus pitch." With runners on 1st and 2nd and Northville trailing 4-1, Robert threw a fastball to Zhang Kan and Kan hit into a double play.
