Highlanders Win, 5-2, at Minnesota
|
No one was more impactful than Homer Harrington in the 5-2 Asheville win over Minnesota. Harrington, who is tied for 7th in the PAA in stolen bases with 5, went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Felipe Flores, the winner, improved to 1-1. He held the Loons to 2 runs on 6 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 4. Asheville has now won 3 in a row.
Asheville took a 5-2 lead on Harrington's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Tyler O'Neill in the top of the eighth, propelled Asheville to the win.
