Screaming Eagles Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Krewe
Mercer Island starter Francisco Encarnación kept the Crescent City offense in check, while his team rolled to a win, 11-2. Encarnación, now 2-3, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. With the win, the Screaming Eagles improved to 13-13.

The Screaming Eagles got a big at-bat from shortstop Jing-quo Au-Yong, who in the top of the first hit a 2-run double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Screaming Eagles on top, 6-0.

"We take it day by day here," said Au-Yong, "and today was a good one for us."
