Led by Richard Oliver, the Ithaca Fighting Imps defeated the Bethesda Atoms, 9-3. Oliver was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Fighting Imps. Ithaca is now 11-14, Bethesda 9-16.

This game was not decided until Harry Stewart came to bat in the top of the 13th. With the bases loaded and no one out, the Ithaca center fielder drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Fighting Imps took the lead, 4-3.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Oliver.
