Ingram Brings A-Game, Expos Beat Manatees
|
Brian Ingram never let the Manatees get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Expos to a win, 4-1. Albert Hernández was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save. Matlacha now has a record of 0-5.
Ingram, a native of Phoenix, Arizona, was dealing all game. He kept Matlacha hitters off-balance, while giving the Expos 7.1 quality innings. Ingram threw 96 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 10.
"I like what I saw today," said Niagara Falls manager Mackenzie Bolen, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
