Polar Bears Deal Cangrejos Fantasmas 8-4 Defeat
The Billings Polar Bears topped the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas, 8-4, in USSL Double A action at The Igloo. The game was highlighted by the performance of Billings third baseman Steve Edwards. Nick Price got the save, the 19th for him this season. The Polar Bears saw their record improve to 40-52.

The Polar Bears got a lift from catcher Craig Stafford who had a 2-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning off Jim Jesse. It was his 10th double of the season and put Billings in front, 6-4.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Homer Robertson said.
