The Ogre Den was the site of a true pitchers' duel.

In a well-pitched game between the Olympia Ogres and the St. Petersburg Thunder, pitcher Michael Poe was fantastic. The Olympia left-hander helped his team secure the win, 1-0. Earning his 16th save of the year was Juan Galván.

Poe scattered 2 hits over 7 innings for the Ogres. With the win, Poe moves to 10-4 on the year with 91 strikeouts.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Olympia manager John Willis said.
