Polar Bears Win, 5-2, at Pine Island
|
The Billings Polar Bears defeated the Pine Island Dolphins, 5-2, in USSL Double A action at Goodyear Hanger Dome. Billings pitcher Abdul-Haqq Baha had a standout performance. Nick Price recorded the save for Billings, his 17th of the season. Billings now owns a record of 37-46.
It could have been a different outcome for Billings, had it not been for Keith Boisseau, the 25-year old left fielder . Boisseau contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Billings up, 3-0.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Boisseau told a Billings Daily reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
