Hiroyasu Chikafuji helped his team muscle past the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 9-3. In the game, the Gulf Coast first baseman was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Ron Cox got credit for the win, improving to 5-1. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits in 7 innings. Gulf Coast has now reeled off 6 straight wins.
