Pine Island used a superb performance from starting pitcher Gabriel Salas to down the Gulf Coast Turbeaus, 3-1. William Bishop converted his 14th save in 16 tries. The triumph puts Pine Island at 34-27 for the season.

Kun P'aeng, the Pine Island first baseman, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 1-0, Dolphins. For the game, P'aeng went 1 for 3.

"No time for flexing," said P'aeng. "It's always one game at a time."
