Cangrejos Fantasmas Beat Polar Bears, 5-3
|
The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas weathered an outstanding game by Billings first baseman Keith Boisseau to topple the Polar Bears, 5-3. Boisseau went 2-2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. At 30-28, the Cangrejos Fantasmas are currently 5th in the Silver AA.
Tom Burke had a big hit for Chesapeake in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Chesapeake leading 3-0, Burke hit a 2-run double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Cangrejos Fantasmas up, 5-0.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Burke.
