The Billings Polar Bears defeated the Olympia Ogres, 5-3, in USSL Double A action at The Igloo. Billings pitcher Matt Hayes had a standout performance. The winner in relief was Nick Price. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 5-5. Billings now owns a record of 28-29.

Billings won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With no outs and Ronald Reynolds on the mound for Olympia, third baseman Steve Edwards hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Polar Bears fans to their feet.
