Elkins in Fine Form in 4-0 Win

The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas picked up a win at Ghost Crab Park, knocking off the Toledo Saboteurs, 4-0. Starting pitcher Ted Elkins was a big reason why. With the win, Chesapeake goes to 25-23, while the Saboteurs fall to 30-18.
Elkins, who has sometimes raised the ire of coaches and teammates with his famously lackadaisical work ethic, turned in a spirited effort. The hurler struck out 6 in 7.1 innings and gave up no runs.
Elkins, who is tied for 8th in the SAA in innings pitched with 62.0, moves to 4-3 on the year with 48 strikeouts.
"Ted is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Chesapeake manager Jorge Baca.
